Bharat Rasayan, Boisar completes ISO 9001: 2008 Certification
Bharat Rasayan established in 1989 is a privately managed organization having manufacturing units in and around Mumbai INDIA. They are a part of the broader Shah Group of Companies. Bharat Rasayan serves a wide range of industries including but not limited to Pharmaceuticals, Bulk Drugs, R&D, Petrochemicals, Flavors & Fragrances and Specialty Chemicals. They provide Custom manufacturing/Contract manufacturing of diverse compounds to meet the unique needs of every client.
The entire Bharat Rasayan team is focused on running a successful global business based on the rapid deployment of innovative products. To do this the Bharat Rasayan developed a sound Management system based on ISO 9001:2008 Quality management Standards, with the help of Lakshy Management Consultant Pvt. Ltd. – one of the largest and well known management consulting companies in the field of ISO certification.
Consultant Ms Vaibhavi Toraskar from Lakshy Management consultant Pvt. ltd. worked closely with Management Representative for the ISO 9001 implementation process for Bharat Rasayan .
Initial awareness training was conducted by the consultant to impart basic knowledge and input to key people of the organization, followed by Gap Analysis. On the basis of gap analysis report provided by the consultant, required tasks were completed that included preparation of quality manual, functional processes, SOPs, work instructions, guide lines and functional formats. These were formally issued to all the users by the M.R.
A rigorous internal audit was carried out and all the observations and findings were discussed in the MRM – Management Review Meeting and required actions were taken by the management to close them.
After this a pre-assessment audit was done to assess organization’s preparedness for the final certification audit and on the basis of positive outcome of the pre-assessment audit, it was decided to do the final certification audit, which was conducted by BMS Certification.
ISO 9001 certification audit was concluded successfully without any major or minor non conformity. Experience and expertise of the Lakshy management consultant Pvt. Ltd – India in providing ISO certification consultation was evident through pre assessment audit as no non conformities were found during the audits and the organization was recommended for ISO 9001:2008 certifications.
